Inchcape Shipping Services France opened two new offices in Le Havre and Rouen during March 2010, to effectively cover all Seine river ports and complete our coverage of Northern France.
The Port of Rouen, known as the ’Grand Port Maritime de Rouen’, is strategically positioned within the French port system, at the mouth of the Seine River in the Seine Valley. Its four terminals; Honfleur, Port-Jerome/Radicatel, Saint-Wandrille/leTrait and Rouen, extend over 120 km and are the closest maritime installations to Paris, allowing Rouen to be considered as Paris's maritime port.
Port Jerome is a tidal port and its main concentration is petroleum products for the EXXON refinery and ethanol products for the Sodes Pier TEREOS refinery.
Rouen’s geographical proximity to Paris provides a gateway to the greater western region of France and the international market. Currently, it is the main European cereals port and is a major port for; break-bulk, agricultural, paper, wood and petroleum products in France.
Inchcape Shipping Services Rouen can arrange crew changes, spares deliveries and provide any assistance needed during your ships call. Our local expertise and experienced staff can also handle all varieties of port calls from; tankers, gas, chemicals, dry-bulk and general cargo to naval, container and cruise ships.
