Fremantle is located 19 kilometres southwest of Perth in Western Australia. Situated at the mouth of the Swan River, Fremantle is home to over 8,000 people and is Western Australia’s major commercial port, handling the majority of the state’s imports and exports.
The Port of Fremantle is the largest general cargo port in the state. It handles 82% of Western Australia’s seaborne imports and 27% of seaborne exports. This amounts to 28.5 million tonnes of trade annually, worth approximately $24 billion.
The Port is divided into the Inner Harbour and the Outer Harbour. The Fremantle Inner Harbour handles most of Western Australia's container trade and also services vehicle imports and livestock, and cruise shipping and naval visits. The Inner Harbour has two main berth areas: Victoria Quay Common User Berths, and North Quay which has four Common User berths, P&O Berths, and Patrick Berths.
Our team at ISS Fremantle is committed to providing excellent service in all areas of marine management.
