Established in 2010, Inchcape Shipping Services Jamnagar is a local office controlled and co-ordinated by our India Head office, situated in Mumbai.
Jamnagar is a coastal town of Gujarat, India founded by “Jam Raval” in 1540AD, as the capital of the princely state of Nawanagar, famous for its brass products, Bandhani and handicrafts.
Reliance Jamnagar Marine Terminal is situated in the Gulf of Kutch, State of Gujarat, India about 35 Km west of the town of Jamnagar. The marine terminal was inaugurated in 1999 to serve the world’s largest grass roots refinery. Reliance operates five SPM’s and five jetties to handle crude and product cargo and Sikka -GSFC has one jetty to handle discharge of chemical cargo.
Off-shore Oil Terminal facilities are available at Vadinar, which has a 54 MMPTA capacity and was the first of its kind in India. The Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) also has two SPM’s for crude discharge.
Further excellent maritime infrastructures are also available at the 32 MMTPA Essar Oil Refinery at Vadinar, where the Essar Terminal has one SPM for crude discharge and two jetties for product loading.
