TRACE certification for ISS entities
Aug 3 2017

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) prides itself on having a very strong Corporate Compliance and Ethics programme, which guides and underpins how we do business. We align to the way our customers expect their vendors to behave when acting as agents on their behalf.

As evidence of this, a number of ISS entities are now TRACE certified; this indicates that the company’s policies and way of doing business, plus our historical affairs have been reviewed by an independent body to confirm that we put our policies into practice.

The Shipping and Maritime Initiative at TRACE was developed following the direct request from vessel owners, shipping agents and freight forwarders for assistance on tackling bribery and corruption at ports. All TRACE members commit to a high level of transparency.

TRACE membership helps global companies conduct business ethically and in compliance with the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act and other similar anti-bribery regulations. The list of TRACE certified members include hundreds of multinational companies, many of which are in the Fortune 500.

The current list of ISS entities which are TRACE certified are:

·       ISS Australia

·       ISS China

·       ISS Mauritius

·       ISS Tanzania

·       ISS Chile

·       ISS Namibia

·       ISS South Africa

·       ISS Trinidad and Tobago

·       ISS Panama

·       ISS Marine (USA)

·       ISS Brazil

·       ISS Mexico

In addition, ISS Hong Kong is also currently undergoing the certification process.
